The chef/owner is into health and uses cold-pressed coconut oil as the cooking oil. The meat is halal, the beef is grass-fed, he uses organic vegetables when possible, alkaline filtered water, no MSG, dishes can be made without added sugar. Food is made from scratch, even the curry pastes, rather than from pre-made mixes or pastes, like at many Thai restaurants. Bold flavors with a Sri Lankan twist to some dishes (the owner is from Sri Lanka).

All of our house made pastries, desserts and soups are made using only real butter, olive oil or avocado oil, with the exception of one of our Asian soups which also uses sesame oil. We do some premade items that may contain other oils or shortening’s but the majority of our items are house made.

While they advertise “tallow fries” - and allowed us to believe the kitchen used tallow for over a year - I was told by new staff that only the caramelised onions put on top of the potatoes were cooked in tallow, while the fries and all else is in vegetable oil.
